The beautiful Avon Valley in the heart of the South Hams countryside is a very special place and is home to many rare species of plants and animals. We are privileged to own, between us, 17 acres on two sites. We’d like to share with you the unfolding story of our land as we attempt to conserve and enhance it for wildlife.

Welcome.
Thank you for visiting our website.
We have been “re-wilding” our land since we bought it in 1986 - long before the term was invented! At the time we had aspirations to create a small nature reserve. We set about creating suitable habitats for the many species of wildlife we hoped to attract back to the formerly intensively farmed field that we had just acquired. We have been rewarded by the return of many species (some rare and endangered). Please click on the link below to learn more.
